It's the weekend
What are your plans for the weekend?
My older boy is going to be 9 years old next Wednesday. His "favourite food in the world" is Chinese dim-sum. So, tomorrow we are going to meet up with grandparents and celebrate in his favourite restaurant. I'm glad one of my children are mini gourmets - it certainly beats a trip to a burger chain.
I'm also going to be watching the two latest Star Trek movies back to back. I really like a bit of sci-fi. Set your phasers to stun, please.
Who is your favourite sci-fi character? Sigourney Weaver in Alien, Captain Jean-Luc Picard, Zoe from Firefly, or maybe Katniss from the Hunger Games? That's what great about sci-fi, there are loads of kick ass female characters to choose from :)
