Recipe: Flapjacks
The first recipe every child learns. Soo delicious too.
Basically there are two types of flapjack eater. The first like theirs chewy and the latter (me included) prefer a bit of a crunch. Here's my recipe for the crunchier version. (For chewy ones drop the oven temp down to 150C)

Ingredients
- 30g butter
- 75g sugar
- 6 tablespoons of golden syrup
- 450g rolled oats
- Preheat the oven to 190C. Grease a baking tray, cut out baking parchment and line the tray.
- Melt the butter gently in a saucepan. Add the sugar and the syrup.
- Put the rolled oats into a large mixing bowl and then pour over the sweet butter mixture.
- Mix well and then press into the baking tray and bake in the oven for 35 minutes.
