Jade

True jade (Jadeite) is found only in Burma and is considered the most prized mineral by the Chinese. It is the essence of heaven and earth
The Chinese believe that wearing Jade on your body protects you from evil spirits.
The shape or carving also has symbolism. The shape of a beautiful yet simple jade bangle represents happiness or completion.
Men often wear carved pieces of jewellery often a phoenix or a dragon. They are both symbols of good luck and nobility. Unlike the Western view of dragons the East sees them as divine creatures of beauty, wisdom and benevolence.
