I'm back.

5 things I loved about Edinburgh.
  1. The friendly people and their lovely accent.
  2. Discovering a little walled, secret garden (shh its called Dunbar's Close)
  3. Haggis (to me it tastes like Paxo's sage and onion stuffing but meatier and spicy)
  4. The romantic wynds through the city by day and the spinechilling ghost walks by night.
  5. It was the first city to be given UNESCO city of literature (2004). Edinburgh has inspired over 500 from Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde to Trainspotting.
Oops and I want to add a no. 6.
  6.   I really enjoyed the Farmer's Market on Saturdays at Castle Terrace.  Lots of locally produced food and drink. I was very tempted with the fruit wines, the Aberdeen Angus steaks for brunch and you can even buy hot porridge to go.
