I'm back.
5 things I loved about Edinburgh.
- The friendly people and their lovely accent.
- Discovering a little walled, secret garden (shh its called Dunbar's Close)
- Haggis (to me it tastes like Paxo's sage and onion stuffing but meatier and spicy)
- The romantic wynds through the city by day and the spinechilling ghost walks by night.
- It was the first city to be given UNESCO city of literature (2004). Edinburgh has inspired over 500 from Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde to Trainspotting.
6. I really enjoyed the Farmer's Market on Saturdays at Castle Terrace. Lots of locally produced food and drink. I was very tempted with the fruit wines, the Aberdeen Angus steaks for brunch and you can even buy hot porridge to go.
