What's for pudding? Eton Mess

To serve 6 (generous)
500g strawberries
8 meringue nests
600ml double cream
2 tablespoons caster sugar


  • Wash and remove the stems from the strawberries. Slice them into smaller pieces.
  • Add the sugar to the strawberries and stir.
  • Whip up the cream until cream until almost stiff.
  • Break up the meringue with your fingers and crumble into the cream, mixing them together.
  • Now layer the strawberries and meringue cream into a tall glass or bowl and enjoy!
