Camping weekend at Lake Müritz
Müritz National Park, the lake district, North East Germany. The Müritz lake (from the Slavic "little sea") is the second largest lake in Germany (after Lake Constance) with an area of 117km. It is surrounded by forests and specially protected wetlands which house many endangered species including white tailed sea eagles, osprey and cranes (I saw a Mummy, Daddy and baby crane very clearly!)
Sailing, longbow archery (which I am crazy for at the moment), Kubb, canoeing through water lily canals, nature watching and being eaten by the voracious insects. What more could you ask for?
