After watching the whole series of
Spartacus: Gods of the Arena over the course of 2 days, I thought it was wiser to put something more modern and less bloodthirsty on my screen. I've been sent Series 1 of
Mad Men from my Lovefilm subscription. All I can say is ... rawwr. How lovely it is to look at this period in time from afar and not to have lived in it. The fashion is gorgeous whilst the Don Draper and Joan Holloway characters light up my small screen. Mad Men has won the prestigious Emmy Award for best drama for the 4th year in a row.
