Fashion classics : The brogue

This iconic shoe style is as British as a cup of tea.  Originally designed as an outdoor activities shoe - the holes were created to allow water to drain from the shoe while the wearer traipsed through bogs and bracken. Yuck.  Nowadays of course, it's more likely to be seen on the feet of City bankers and It girls.
