The hot banana

I brought home this beauty today - laden down with yummy ripe chilli peppers. Yum yum. I can't wait to harvest some this weekend.

• Scoville heat units: 5,000 to 10,000 (medium)
• Profuse bearer of mildly hot peppers. Perfect for frying or roasting.
• Fruit matures from light yellow, to orange, to red. Harvest at all stages for a colourful stir-fry!
