Yuko Shimizu

"Finding my chi" for Runners World

 Yuko Shimizu is a New York based artist and illustrator. Combining traditional Japanese graphics with surrealist and comic culture she creates her basic forms with traditional calligraphy brushes and then digitally supplements them with colour and background. I think the effect is stunning.
