Reading: The Valley of Amazement

To be honest, it has been a while since I have been totally lost inside a novel. This book, The Valley of Amazement by Amy Tan, has reaffirmed my love of the printed word and dropped me into the world of early 20th century Shanghai. This is Ms Tan's 7th novel and though my ebook reader says I have read 22% of this book I can say I'm absolutely hooked.
