The tale of the Princess Kaguya

If you ever get the opportunity to see this wonderful animated movie by Isao Takahata at Studio Ghibli, then please, please go and watch it.

Oscar nominated for best animated feature for 2015 this is a hand drawn masterpiece based on a classic 10th century Japanese folk tale about a poor woodcutter who finds a tiny, doll-like girl sprouting from a bamboo shoot.
