Crafting: Bed socks and cat scarves

I recently ordered a batch of bamboo knitting needles so I can teach Oliver how to knit. My project will be these socks (the pattern promises to be easy) and Oliver's is to knit Bella a stylish scarf.

They look very cosy and warm
